GS Instruments Co., Ltd (GSI) acquired NEP (New Excellent Product) certification for the network analyzer (A333) that the company developed firstly in Korea.
That product was already awarded as a winner of Ministry of Knowledge Economy New Tech Award and has proven its technology. Compared to foreign equipment, A333 has more functions and less weight and size by 40% resulted in favorable feedback from the market.
NEP certification issued by Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KAT) according to law for acceleration of the industrial technology innovation. The qualification for this certification is the technology developed firstly in Korea or equivalent, and appraisal standard is the degree of the improvement from the existing technology including economical, technological impact during commercialization and superiority of the product itself.
