Hung-Chang ¡°Changing its name and taking another leap to telecommunication equipment manufacturer¡±
Hung-Chang, last 19th, said that the company decided to change its name to GS Instruments on its general meeting of stockholders.
Since 1972, Hung-Chang has been manufacturing and selling electronic test instruments and telecommunication equipments. However, it faced bankruptcy and GSTeletech merged Hung-Chang this May.
This merger and acquisition is expected to bring synergy effects by combining the high profitable LPA (Linear Power Amplifier) and digital test equipment businesses of Hung-Chang, and the telecommunication system technology of GS Teletech.
GSTeletech and GS Instruments plan to share its marketing and technological strategy with each other and provide system operators with total solutions to extend its worldwide market share.
In the domestic market, also, the company will be prepared for WCDMA, DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting), and Mobile Internet business according to its bright outlook of the telecommunication market next year.
Based on 32-year experience of developing and manufacturing electronic measuring instruments, the company used to have customers in more than 93 countries. The company will take the momentum by innovating its factory in Qindao, China to take a leap to the world-class manufacturer.
